Precision Ag Specialist- COLFAX / PULLMAN, WASHINGTON

Description:  This position is the step above a Service Technician and requires the knowledge/ability to perform the duties of a Service Technician.  The primary purpose of the Precision Ag Specialist will be to serve as the support person for our Sales Consultants and our Service Technicians. This position will be responsible for helping design, troubleshoot and oversee the installation and/or service/repair of our agricultural precision technology systems and spray equipment systems performed by the Service Technicians.


Duties:

  • Assist our Sales Consultants generate customer quotes by designing systems tailored to each customer and ensuring that all items are included and quoted accurately

  • Work with our Sales Consultants and Service Technicians to schedule customer installs

  • Ensure all necessary equipment and parts are on order and delivered by the start

  • Have all items ready to go each day for the technician’s projects

  • Help technician troubleshoot problems and provide hands on assistance when needed

  • Assess customer needs, communicate between customers and Service Technicians to resolve issues and to ensure that schedules are followed

  • Problem solve with customers, vendors, tech support and suppliers as needed

  • Maintain strict deadlines

  • Keep detailed records of system installations and support cases

  • Monitor inventory to ensure adequate stock of items that should be on hand

  • Report to the office daily at 7am (M-F)

  • General office tasks as needed


Desired skills/experience: This position requires someone with an expert knowledge of GPS automated steering systems, automated spray controllers and other aspects of precision agriculture. At least 3 years of general experience with precision agriculture required with a two year college degree or higher. Strong computer skills are a must. Customer service experience and working with Customer/Project Management software is preferred. Must be a fast learner, reliable, energetic, have detailed work ethic, and be adaptable to a growing and changing work environment.


Compensation: DOE, base plus performance, benefits including paid Holidays, PTO, Health/Dental coverage and 401k after initial probationary period.

The primary responsibility for this position will be to create, install, trouble shoot and repair agricultural precision technology systems and spray equipment systems for customers at farm locations and in a shop setting.


Duties:

  • Install, calibrate and service GPS based automated steering controllers

  • Install, calibrate and service GPS based automatic application controls including Sprayers, Grain Drills, Precision Planters, etc

  • Setup and service of light ATV sprayers for use in both Orchard and broad acre applications

  • Setting up data links between equipment

  • Training end user on equipment operations

  • Travel to and from customer locations

  • Work with our Precision Ag Specialist to resolve issues and to stay on schedule

  • Engage in a team based environment and be willing to act and think independently

  • Perform regular general maintenance of vehicles and equipment

  • Complete paper work as needed before and after every project

  • Communicate with customers about equipment and service needs

  • Report to work daily at 7am (M-F)

  • Meet strict deadlines and follow schedules closely

Required:

  • Valid driver's license

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment

  • Willingness to work nights, weekends and overtime as needed

  • Travel long distances (occasional overnights)

  • Attend vendor training sessions (out of state)

Description:  ATI Solutions is a fast growing innovative technology company with an immediate opening for a Sales Consultant for our Walla Walla, WA location. The primary responsibility for this position will be to generate outsides sales for our various precision ag systems.


Duties:

  • Generate and oversee sales leads and weekly reports

  • Develop an extensive knowledge of our product lines and equipment

  • Create quotes by working closely with our Precision Ag Specialist to ensure the accuracy of the system design depending on individual customer needs.

  • Communicate with customers prior, during and following service with our company

  • Travel to customer locations

  • Generate marketing ideas and campaigns to help generate sales

  • Oversee company participation in various trade shows

  • Attend trade shows (multi-day, overnight functions)

  • Maintain a positive and forward thinking attitude


Desired skills/experience: A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle required. At least 2 years of relative sales and marketing experience required, with a minimum of a two year college degree preferred. Knowledge of spraying equipment and farm machinery is essential.  Experience with farm software systems, GPS and general computer skills preferred. Ability to travel long distances (occasional overnights) and attend periodic trainings in other states as needed. Must be a fast learner, reliable, energetic, have detailed work ethic, and be adaptable to a growing and changing work environment.


Compensation: DOE. Base Salary plus Commission, benefits including paid Holidays, PTO, Health/Dental coverage and 401k after initial probationary period.
